Cynthia Toliver Author

I was born in Houston and grew up in Waco, Texas. I credit God for the talent; my family and educators for nuturing my love for reading and creative writing. After graduating from Richfield High School, I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Rice University and much later a Master's Degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Walden University. I have enjoyed a varied career as an engineer, environmental consultant, educator and author. A retired educator with  a heart for children, I have begun a new chapter as a foster parent.
